When you use Stat-Ninja, we may collect:

• Account information — your email address, used to sign you in via magic link
• Team and roster data — team name, season, and player names and jersey numbers that you enter
• Game data — scores, stats, play time, and notes that you record during games
• Photos — optional game photos uploaded by coaches, stored in our cloud storage
• Voice commands — optional microphone recordings sent for transcription. We store rejected command text and its error for your review, plus approved player-name hints. Stat-Ninja does not retain audio recordings; a failed clip may remain temporarily in your browser’s memory for retry.
• Usage data — basic logs collected by our hosting and infrastructure providers

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to provide the Stat-Ninja service:

• To authenticate you and maintain your session
• To store and display your team, roster, and game data
• To send you sign-in links via email
• To improve the reliability and performance of the app

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

6. Children's Privacy

Stat-Ninja is intended for use by adults (coaches and parents). While coaches may enter roster data that includes youth players' first names, jersey numbers, and occasional photos, we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Coaches are responsible for the data they choose to enter and should obtain appropriate consent from parents before uploading photos or other identifying information about players.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information about a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@stat-ninja.com and we will promptly delete it.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your team, all associated data (players, games, stats, and shifts) is permanently deleted from our systems. If you request full account deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days. To request deletion, email privacy@stat-ninja.com.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@stat-ninja.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are located in the European Union or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively. We honor deletion and access requests regardless of your location.

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure cookie-based sessions, and access controls through our database provider. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will post a notice on stat-ninja.com with an updated "Last revised" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance.
